Got rid of the "safety" nozzle which was so hard to use.
These are great. I now have three gas cans with "regular" nozzles. So much easier to use. I am so glad that I don't have to move a clip and press a very large button - both spring loaded - any longer. This also gave me a useable can that had a broken safety nozzle that did not flow at all. I was having to take the whole thing off and pour directly from the can.I have not tried them yet. I'm guessing I'll need to drill a vent hole to get them to flow quickly. (Caps and drill bit included) I need to wait until the cans are empty to wash shavings out of the container. The caps to seal the ends were not easy to start but, once on, are not bad to take off and put back on. I needed an end cap for one of them anyway.I do have some extra pieces left over which is a little wasteful but, for the price and overall ease of installation, I'd recommend this set and, if needed, would certainly buy again.

    These replacement spouts for our gas cans worked amazingly! We had to purchase multiple because we have had our gas cans for years and they are in great shape but the spouts and or nozzles were in bad shape. We really like these replacements because they give a good snug fit so you don't have to worry about spills or leaking and the fact that the spouts are able to bend is awesome that feature alone is well worth the product. It really helps prevent spills!

    Had hoped for a better fit for my finer threaded gas cans. Am only able to gently tighten finer threaded caps. Use a little too much twist and the caps will slip. Haven’t tried pouring fuel from them yet so not sure if I will experience leaking. Also not designed for some of the newer jugs that have incorporated valves within the cap assembly. Vent plug installation was as expected and works well. Included drill bit was prone to drop plastic into the can so I used a differently designed one which was better at pulling the plastic shavings up and away from the hole. Was able to use to refurbish some of my fuel jugs, so overall I’m happy with the set.

    It's been a year since I ordered these I even bought a second set to give to friends and relatives. I originally gave it 5 stars. But after a year the rubber gaskets on all them have deteriorated and they all now leak terribly and are thus useless. I've also cracked a couple of the caps probably due to trying to stop the leaking by overtightening them.

    I have purchased several similar items from a big name box store. At first they worked mostly fine but over time the rubber seal would weaken and sometimes they would leak or worse they would pull out spraying gas all over me.
    These are stiffer, that is pro and con. The con is is a bit harder to bend, but well worth the not leaking. The only other complaint is the end cap STRAP is a bit difficult to remove, if you leave it in place it gets in the way when putting gas in a car. Of course one does not need the strap if you are diligent about putting the cap back on. I have tied a string to the strap further down on the spout, thus out of the way.

    Also big plus to these is the design. The others that I purchased were simply flat at the connection point. These are tapered, similar to a funnel. Which in my opinion is why they don't leak.
