    These shoes were purchased for an 88 year old man, after doing lots of research. Shoe quality is so important with the elderly. From the moment he tried on these shoes, he said these were the ones! He loves them and said they are extremely comfortable. The upper velcro strap closest to the ankle is short, it still works fine but would look nicer if it went all the way across the foot. When he wears his shoes, the top strap only reaches halfway across. No, he does not have swollen feet. It is just the way the shoes are made. Thank you Rockport, for making a comfortable shoe that is made from leather, and can be put on and off easily. I will be buying another pair in black. This pair is off-white.

    There was discomfort inside the show from inside stitching which tended to "rub" and irritate stocking foot, other wise would have kept shoes. Appreciated the style, fit, color, etc. Not sure of arch support. Could not wear long enough due to discomfort to rate this feature.

    EXTREMELY disappointed. I wore Rockport Pro-Walkers for years, back in the day, when the product was manufactured in the USA. Always a quality product with a correct fit. Now that the shoe is manufactured in China, both the quality and the fit has gone to Hades in a hand cart. The materials are crappy and the sizes DO NOT run true. I ordered a size 9-D (M-us) and the shoe was so narrow that I couldn't BEGIN to get my 9-D (US) foot into it. No more Rockports for this old soldier. I'll look elsewhere for a shoe that manufactured in the USA. And "FREE RETURNS"? Not necessarily so.. UPS Pickup is gonna cost you $6.00. Only USPS is free, as are certain other UPS services.
