As I said, they won't come off of my window. I had to use vinegar and a box cutter. They work OK. I found that the outer ridge is loaded with bugs, but the bugs have to walk over their buddies' bodies to get farther into the trap. Very few actually do. So we got ZEVO, Blue which is ($19.97 List: $27.77) right now. It's more expensive and the refills are about $5 ea. The good news is that it's very open and bugs don't need to crawl over corpses to get to a sticky spot. Here's my recommendation: Fly Strips Indoor Sticky Hanging 24 Pack for $9.99. They don't look as pretty as the blue light occupying an outlet on your wall, but you can hang them up higher where the bugs fly.

Within a week of putting them up in my shed,(I installed 4 out of 8) they were all full of bugs. I removed them and then replace them with the other traps. I must apologize to the company that made these I had submitted a really bad review of this product and really wanted to send a new review to let you know that these fly traps do work really good I took the fly trap out of the window and found inside so many flies it was unreal that were trapped inside I said in the first review that they didn't catch any flies and they were worthless and I was wrong I highly recommend these fly traps the only drawback is that they don't stick very well I had to tape one of them in the window the other one fell out downstairs on my downstairs neighbors patio but I do give them a very high rating that they really do work just make sure you double tape them to stick in the windows

I had bought a different brand before that didn't have a little window hole for bugs to see the light. The light hole seems like a smart addition.

Fold it really well, like you're putting it together, then unfold it before you peel off the inner adhesive. It'll be more sleek like the pictures that way. I stuck a bit of stotch tape on the sides to ensure the edges were sealed enough to keep gnats and such from crawling back out. And go ahead and tape it to your window. The two patches of adhesive on the back is pretty obviously not going to stay strong for long.

Rest assured that any bugs that get trapped behind your blinds will make their way into the trap you've set for them.
