- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2024Color: StainlessSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseThis was my second Oster Toaster oven. My old one finally died after about 4-5 years of regular use. I use this more often than my regular oven because it is a great size, big enough for large pans, but does not heat up the kitchen like my regular gas oven. I use this toaster oven multiple times a day and do 95% of my oven baking, roasting and toasting with this toaster oven and I truly LOVE it. Considering the amount of cooking I use it for, I can definitely state it is well built and will last long. The only con is I did have to line my cabinet with insulation because I did not want this on the counter and putting it inside a cabinet is problematic because it does generate some heat. I would recommend and this is my second purchase of the same toaster oven - note I did purchase 2 others to try but returned them as neither was as well made or reliable as this model.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2017Color: StainlessSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseI enjoy using this oven over my big built in oven. There are some legitiment complaints on amazon about this item:
Cord to short: true, but uses extension cord, manufacturer knows this and keeps it short on purpose to protect agains any lawsuit/recall issues since this item is lightweight and can be moved or pulled off counter top very easy.
Claims of Overcooking: If you dont know how to adjust to convection cooking, which simply means the hot air in your oven is moved around the item cooking by fans, Yes, you will over cook items, best way is to check food 5-10minutes prior to timer going off.
Tempeture way off : Nope temp works perfect, remember, you do NOT Check Temp on convection setting, it is done on Bake Setting, if convection setting is being used, please adjust cooking time or use method stated above.
Cant use Aluminium foil:
False, you can use it with no problem, as long as you dont block fan ducts ot touch heating elements, please re-read that phrase in instruction booklet,
Glass door breaks: To new to answer this one, just be careful when opening door, door has handle and does open much further then big ovens.
Cant tell when oven is in bake or broil mode on digital controls:
Well, if you cant see it, i suggest getting eyesight checked, Not a problem on my oven and i wear glasses.
Oven gets hot when in use:
True but not any hotter then a regular toaster oven gets when in use.
Oven does not use regular bakeware sizes:
Depends on what you are trying to use, oven hold 13 by 9 cookware and holds 16 inch pizza pan, oven does not use full size broiler pan, but comes with one that can be used, it slides in under rack and you bake, broil or grill on the rack above pan, very nice feature.
Hope i covered the major complaints or questions being asked, in closing let me say that this oven is a very nice change on very hot days when you dont want the kitchen cooking from the big oven, it can be used in apts where no oven is available for 2 to 3 people, Oven has 2 racks, where you see them in picture is where you can put them, both shelfs come out for easy cleaning and yes, you can cook a full turkey or chicken in this oven, i would not try and cook Thanksgiving dinner in this due to its size but its nice as a seperate oven to heat items already cooked and as timesaver goes, dont look for major time saved by using this item, maybe 5 to 10 minutes per item, but you do save electricity which saves you money using this over your big oven when you can.

It does also in fact cook 2 full size frozen pizzas at the same time but you need to switch because the top one cooks faster for some weird reason. Or maybe its just me and i cannot cook pizza lol.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2015Color: StainlessSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseI was looking for the Oster toaster oven that my dad has. I like that slightly better than this one. This oven is quite large, maybe a little too large, but not large enough in some respects for some pans I have, so then I would have to use the large oven.
Love that it can do convection as well as the regular oven stuff. Wish that this oven had a light in it, but it doesn't. But, otherwise, it's easy to use.
Guess my cons are:
1. No light inside.
2. A little too large.
3. Can only cook for up to 90 minutes at a time. It would be nice to be able to cook for hours on this.
Pros:
1. Large
2. Easy digital.
3. Easy to clean.
Update: 12/30/2018
I've now had this oven for 3.5 yrs. I still give it a 4 out of 5 star review. We use our oven nearly every day and multiple times often. Before I said it was a little too large, but it isn't. I sort of wish it was slightly larger so it would fit normal sized half sheet baking sheets.
This oven is easy to clean if you clean it close to right after any spills and after it cools down. But, if you don't clean for months, it then is really hard to clean and I'm still trying to figure out a way to get the gunk off the walls. I've used only a paste of baking soda/vinegar/water and applying it to the walls, baking at 200 F for 45 minutes. Doing this twice and using a lot of elbow grease with an abrasive scrubby pad got a lot of stuff off but still not good enough.
I'm going to contact Oster this week to see if I can use Easy Off Oven Cleaner, though I hate using any chemicals in the oven. My Crumb Tray that you can slide out is gross. You cannot cover this with aluminum foil as it will mess with the temperature of the oven. Basically you can't have any foil touching the heating elements or the sides of the walls of the inside of the oven.
I do cover foods with aluminum foil and that is fine.
The odd dimensions of this oven don't allow you to get a real half sheet which has a width of 16". The max this oven can take is 15 5/8", so just shy. I wish when they made this oven, they made the inner dimension able to fit the half sheet. Was able to find Jamie Oliver's baking pan at 15x10, but most other places don't have this weird size.
The baking pan that came with my Oster looks hideous. I'm trying to figure out how to clean it. Yes, my bad. Layers of burned on grease and who knows what else. Mine is black and after 2 times in the oven with my paste, and soaking in the sink in hot water, it's still mostly black. I may just need to see if Oster offers a replacement baking pan as well as Crumb Tray I can buy.
I still don't like the fact there is no light inside the oven, which would be really nice to have.
The door, if you're not careful, can swing opened real easily when you open the oven and I can see how some might be able to break the glass on the door. It hasn't happened to me, though, thankfully.
This is our MOST used appliance and has been good. The cook times can vary a little from a recipe, like sometimes 5 minutes or so give or take. The digital controls are easy to use.
Though, admittedly, I've never Toasted anything in this oven. Mainly I use BAKE and sometimes BROIL. Today, after owning it for so long, I realized it has a TURBO CONVECTION baking feature. I reduced the temp by 25 F but still baked for the same amount of time some hashbrowns this morning. My husband says he likes it this way better than regular BAKE.
Anything you would use a convention sized oven, I basically use this for my family of 4 and occasionally guests. It's enough. I do casseroles, meat, all sorts of things.
The only other things I wished this oven had besides an inside oven light are: dehydrator feature, air frying feature. If it had these 3 things, a bit easier cleaning, it would be the perfect toaster oven.

5.0 out of 5 stars A useful countertop oven that performs well.
Color: StainlessSize: Extra LargeVerified PurchaseBought this oven 3 months ago - having previously returned another comparable countertop oven from a different manufacturer after an intensely frustrating experience trying to get it to give decent results. Scarred from the previous oven I approached this Oster with low expectations - and have been blown away by the non-dramatic way it just does what I need. Sure there were a few quirks to get used to - and it isn't a full size oven, so don't expect it to compete with one. However, it will take most of my usual cookware and can take on pretty much any job I need a second oven to do. I have got used to using it to make toast or melt toppings on open sandwiches (both areas the previous one couldn't perform in) with total confidence that it will produce good results. I have used it to bake bread, broil steaks ( surprisingly juicy and tender), bake cakes, pizza, etc. If you want a countertop oven that is large enough for most tasks - in my case to cook in while I waited forever for the spare part needed for my full sized range to work again - I recommend this one. No drama, just reliably gets on with the job.

Ya tengo aprox 6 meses con el y funciona a la perfección, es muy amplio, como referencia si cabe un pizza del tamaño tradicional, de hecho 2 pizzas, una en cada parrilla.
