When I first put this on, I LOVED it! The fit is very flattering, especially the middle that helps hold in the tummy.However, I wore it on a cruise and after just one time in a hot tub, the fading started at the skirt. Over the course of the week, it continued to fade more and more. I bought it in Navy (the original color is still visible around the middle, the part that was generally bunched under my breasts when I sat). But you can see the color is now a sort of lilac.I would purchase this again for the fit of it and how it flatters, but I will buy it in a light color that is less apt to fade.UPDATE: Perona reached out to me after seeing my review and sent me a replacement swimsuit. I was very impressed with their customer service. So far that suit (“Summer”) is holding its color okay.

    As a plus size woman who has lost a significant amount of weight in the last year, I was having the worst time trying to find a bathing suit for our upcoming cruise. I had tried on at least 15 swim dresses and either they didn't work at the bust area, or the skirt was too short, or the straps were wonky. But this suit hit every single check mark I had. Not only does it fit perfect and makes me look slimmer than I actually am, but it is also gorgeous! I actually am looking forward to hitting the beach and not feeling self-conscious. And that says a lot! If you are on the fence about this suit, do your self image a favor and buy this. You won't regret it.

    I am in between sizes and wear a size 22w or 20w, I ordered 22w and it fit perfectly. (250 lbs, wide hips and large breast) This is such a high quality made product and I absolutely loved it. The length was perfect for me because I have scars on my thighs and that was my main area of concern and it was just right. I am 5’2 and this fit me right above my knee. It did fit a little loose on the chest area but that’s because my girls are saggy so it’s not the suit. I just bought some sticky tape and was planning to use that with this. It’s not too revealing as some people mentioned and the material is so comfortable. I didn’t end up using it during our trip so unfortunately I am returning it but I saved this company as I will definitely buy all my suits from them from now on and will make sure I recommend them for other plus size users. I only write reviews for stuff I really like. I forgot to mention the belly area was poppin’ it has some ruffling or rouching not sure what it’s called but anyhow that covers your belly area nicely. Overall will definitely buy again and definitely recommend this product. Loved everything about it and wished I actually did use it .

    Update: I normally use this suit in my pool at home. I brought it with me on a resort vacation this week, and I am lowering my original 5-star to a 4-star because when you wear this all day, which I never do at home, the seams rub your side raw. I have 3 other suits that do not do this. It's only a problem after several hours, but it's a real problem then. The seams are very thick and not finished nicely like my other suits.

    That said, my original review below still stands for 2-3 hours of wear. I would still buy this, but I wouldn't bring it on vacation.

    Original: I am shocked that I found a plus size swimsuit of such good quality for this price. It's exactly what I wanted--classic black with a longer than average skirt and good all over-all coverage.

Got to the park and put on the new suite on again without all the underwear it was perfect again, except the top. I need to move my fat around to my boobs. The fit of the suite I was in love with- it looked great and felt awesome. It is too big for my boobs- if I bent over you saw everything. DANG!!!! Good thing I brought my other suit with me.     I am on the fence about this suit. Love the style and color, I have large belly and this skims it and is flattering. However, shorter torso if you adjust the traps and look under the skirt it is not full coverage slightly high cut so my belly hangs out. It also has no breast support. The cups are high but your breast are four inches below. The bra is fully attached to suit so no lift under breasts at all. 42c/d and now have to consider boob tape or strapless bra underneath. But I am desperate and not sure I can do better.

    I purchased strapless bra to wear underneath and some tape to keep the belly area secure. I am keeping it as it is so flattering and comfortable. Easy off and on when using the bathroom which is a plus!
