I love this area rug- especially since it reminds me of a vintage one my beloved grandmother had. The main color is olive green yet it sometimes looks black depending on the lighting. It looks vintage, even maybe antique, it fits well into my southwest style, comfy (sitting) room. The colors go well with my furniture. I have light tan wall to wall carpeting in the room and this was just perfect to place under my coffee table and catch the foot traffic in front of my sofa, to protect the main tan carpeting and keep it cleaner longer. It also serves to keep the area clean around the outside of my coffee table. I had some family and guests for Christmas so it really helped for this purpose. I also received many compliments - some of my guests thought I redecorated the room. It really gives the room character and charm. I was impressed at how easily the wrinkles flattened, ( it comes folded in a vacuum bag) just by walking on it a day or two before we had guests and one vacuuming. I have a reduced suction speed on vacuum which I needed to use. The rug is thick enough to be sturdy- but thin enough it would have bunched up with the regular vacuum suction. It is soft yet made well. I have not washed it yet- but I feel it will clean well. I feel it is a value for the money.

This isn't like what rugs used to be, it's better! Soft and feels like silky flannel or velvety fabric. Feels great barefoot and seems so far to be warm when we get up during the night.
Color is super beautiful and does look like an expensive rug at an affordable price. Had a likely coated back that seems to grip better than typical heavily coated rubber backed type rugs that break down over time.
The size we got fills the area used well and compliments the room. It comes folded but the folds quickly flatten out as seen in the pics. May need to get a couple more to go with this one as we like it so much. Very happy with product!

I have dogs so being able to machine wash this rug makes cleaning a whole lot easier. I've tossed so many traditional type rugs, this one makes better economical sense. It washes well in cool water & air dries rather quickly. A stick vacuum or handheld works, a full size vacuum sucks this up. The rug is thin with a soft velvety feel & it has a nonslip back. A pad would be optional. The design is printed on. It lays flat for the most part though it ripples along the edges no matter how much I try to smooth it out. It doesn't look awful since I can hide two sides under furniture but it's definitely not ideal. Overall, it's the convenience of this rug that makes it worth using. It offers traction for my senior dog, better than a bare floor. It also adds a bit of decorative warmth to my space without the high maintenance of a typical rug.
