**DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTS IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY**

Honestly, I'm a college student and don't have the money to spend on nice expensive lights to line the corner ceilings of my room. This was the cheapest option and definitely holds up to college life, but there are very obvious drawbacks due to the lower cost. I'll touch on a few of those here.

BRIGHTNESS:
There are only three settings on the brightness. The lowest setting doesn't get dim enough for me and the highest setting doesn't get bright enough for me. It's not that big of an issue, but it would make more logical sense to have the lower setting get much more dim and the higher setting get brighter while the middle remains the same. Once again, not a big issue, but it would be more convenient.

REMOTE:
When plugging the lights in, there is a bulky black box that controls the remote reception. If the remote is not pointed directly at the black box, the color will not change. I find that even when I am pointed directly at the box it still takes a few clicks before the lights react and change or turn off. There is such a big delay in response from the lights and the remote, sometimes I have to click 9 or 10 times in order to get a response from the lights.

MISC:
The lights will blink very brightly and very aggressively when changing the brightness, the color, or the transition speed for color change. The lights also react to other remotes, so since I have my Bluetooth speakers next to the lights, every time I press a button on the remote for my speakers, the lights blink incredibly brightly. This happens so often and so easily that I would strongly discourage anyone with epilepsy from buying this product.

Overall, for a broke college student, these are a solid option. They aren't hung up with a sticky side, so I do not have to worry about issues reusing these lights if I move out. These are the cheapest lights for their length and are very easy to install. If you're looking for cheap lights you don't have to worry about beating up and you don't care about the other things mentioned in this review, these are certainly the lights for you.
