*What's a Ceilidh?
The Gaelic word "Ceilidh" - pronounced "kay-lee" - is quite simply a gathering of people. In Nova Scotia, and especially in Cape Breton, folks consider ceilidhs to be events where live music will be played and guests will dance and celebrate long into the night.
