The story of two friends (Belfi and Lillibit) who live in the Dwarf village deep in the forest with their friends. Belfi (Lillabit in the English version) lives with her uncle who is the doctor in the village. She spends her time with her friends, especially her best friend Lillibit (Willibit in the English version), and Napoleon (Snagglebit in the English version), the spoiled son of the village mayor. Other characters include Chuchuna (Teenybit), Lillibit's younger sister; Manga (Snuffly), Belfi's flying squirrel companion; and Daggurin (Elderbit), the village elder. The episodes show how friends cooperate together to help the people in the village and animals in the surrounding forest who are in need. At the end of the story Belfi's parents, assumed dead for the entire series up to that point, come back to the village.

And so Tyltyl and Mytyl, accompanied by various spirits, as well as their now-humanoid pets, are led on a journey to find the blue bird of happiness and save their mother, and along the way they visit some strange and wondrous places, and finally, must face the spirit of darkness to attain their elusive goal.

Liu Bi, the descendant of the fallen Han Dynasty, is attacked by Huang Geon-jeok while making a mat in Nusang Village. In anger, Yubi made a resolution of Do-won with Gwan-woo and equipment, and formed a brother-in-law. The Yubi brothers defeat Jangbo's Hwanggeon-jeok who raided the Yuju region and rescue Dong-tak, who had been defeated and fled, but are ignored for being a medical officer, not an official. Meanwhile, in the Han royal family, after the death of the emperor, a fierce power battle between Empress Dong and Empress Ha broke out. Ha Jin, a younger brother of Ha Tae-hoo, assassinated her Dong-tae-hu to gain her power, but in the end, he too falls into the tactics of Sisang-si and dies. Aiming for this opportunity, Dong-tak leads 200,000 troops to Luoyang, takes the emperor as a hostage, and takes office as a monk. Gong Son-chan, Son Gyeon, and Jojo, who were less capable of this situation, united and went out to subdue Dong-tak, but the three Liu Bi brothers were also in the double.

Nobita finds a fossilized dinosaur egg by accident, and with the help of Doraemon's tools, they hatched the egg and began raising the dinosaur.
