Principals at 8 Duval County schools change jobs over the summer. Are they at your school?
Eight Duval County school administrators have been transferred or promoted into jobs as school principals in the summer weeks leading up to the new school year’s start on Monday.
The moves represent a sharp drop from the past few years, when as many as 30 principals have been moved between school years. Sixteen were reassigned last year.
The shifts, reported to the School Board last month and this month, were:
Julie Ehrenberg has been promoted from assistant principal to principal at Twin Lakes Academy Elementary.
Amber Felts made the jump from assistant principal at Greenland Pines Elementary to principal at Sabal Palm Elementary.

Raquel Foxworth was reassigned as principal at New Berlin Elementary after leading Henry F. Kite Elementary, which is merging with Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary.
Jamie Griffin, a former math teacher who spent two years as principal of the BridgePrep Academy of Duval charter school, was hired back by the school system as principal of Westview PreK-8 School.
Kimberly Harrison, a former Nassau County teacher and principal, was reassigned from Duval County's supervisor of magnet programs to principal of LaVilla School of the Arts.
Shalane Peterson was promoted from assistant principal to principal at Dinsmore Elementary.
Barbara Sims was promoted from assistant principal at Biltmore Elementary to principal of S.P. Livingston Accelerated Primary Learning Center.
Andrea Willis was reassigned from principal at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary, which is merging with Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary, to principal at Pinedale Elementary.
