TOBYHANNA ARMY DEPOT, Pa. -Matt Blundetto works on a PP-8479(V) 3/ASM Power Distribution Box Assembly. The Power Distribution Boxes are part of the AN/ASM-189 and 190 Electronic Service Vans and the AN/ASM-146 and 147 Electronics Shelters workload. The vans and shelters are used as mobile communications-electronics systems repair and tests shops. Blundetto is an electrician in the Electrical Overhaul Support Branch, Electronic Services Division, Systems Integration and Support Directorate.
Tobyhanna Army Depot is the Defense Department's largest center for the repair, overhaul and fabrication of a wide variety of electronics systems and components, from tactical field radios to the ground terminals for the defense satellite communications network. Tobyhanna's missions support all branches of the Armed Forces.
About 5,500 personnel are employed at Tobyhanna, which is located in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania.
