The Kansas City Chiefs made three roster moves, signing one player and cutting two more.
The team signed DL Jairus Campbell. They waived FB James Baker and DB David Van Dyke.
Campbell is 6'5 and weighs 296 pounds as an undrafted defensive lineman out of Bowling Green.
Quick note on new Chiefs signing Jarius Campbell. He attended the Chiefs rookie minicamp in late May as a tryout player.

His nickname may or may not be JBONE.

I don't know much about him but there is competition for possibly one more defensive lineman spot. I see Dontari Poe, Allen Bailey, Mike DeVito, Mike Catapano and Vance Walker as likely to make it. Maybe the Chiefs keep one more defensive lineman.
James Baker never showed up to the start of camp due to personal reasons so he was placed on the reserve / did not report list. David Van Dyke, signed this offseason, had an injury during camp.
The Chiefs return to practice at 8:15 a.m. Monday. No word on whether Campbell will be able to get into the first preseason game on Thursday.
