John Morgan Francis John Morgan Francis has been an Editor with A Sea of Blue since 2016.

Former Kentucky Wildcats basketball point guard and Southeastern Conference player of the year Tyler Ulis has been waived from the Sacramento Kings and is now a free agent searching for a spot on a new team.

With the Kings having to weave out their final roster transactions, Ulis unfortunately found himself as the odd-man-out. Now, the 23-year old will look for any opportunity that presents itself. After being drafted 34th overall in 2016, Ulis has played on three professional teams and two G-League teams. While it’s more than likely he’ll end up back in the G-League, that’s clearly much better than not playing at all.

As Big Blue Nation saw during his Kentucky days, Ulis has the heart of a lion and nothing will keep him from earning his way back into The Association.
