Special Friends Day at the Kern County Fair draws a big crowd on the 2nd day of the fair.
"Hey, where are your legs?" It didn't take long for Matthew George, a special needs student from Evergreen Elementary School, to figure out something wasn't quite right with the cowboy team of Slim, right,and Curley, not pictured, as they entertained during Special Friends Day at the Kern County Fair Thursday. But it was all good as people enjoyed the morning on the special day.

Beth Dill says her daughter, Sophia, who is blind can't see the Kern County Fair but she can experience the fair by sound, smell and touch. Sophia and many other special people were able to experience the Kern County Fair during Special Friends Day at the fair Thursday.
