Alvarez Model 4280 5 String Banjo
Alvarez has been one of the most popular and best sounding of the Asian banjos. This one is no exception. It is currently set up as an open back. It has a two piece flange, so I removed the resonator and the flange plate, and it makes a great sounding open back. I like the bright loud sound of a tubaphone pot and that's what this sounds like.
You can convert it back to a bluegrass set up. The flange plate and resonator will be included.
It comes with an older hard shell case which is scratched and dinged but in good condition.
