Al Athba, more popular as Wadi Al Shabak, spans 10.5 sq. km. in a semi-desert area of central-northern Dubai. Under the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment programme, a significant initiative was launched to support Emirati citizens in 2018. As part of this effort, over a thousand residential plots were allocated in the area of Wadi Al Shabak. The total land area covered by these plots spans an impressive 232 hectares, providing ample space for development. It is one of the few sites in Dubai where long-term camping is permitted.

Previously known as Wadi Al Shabak Dubai, Al Athba features spacious villas in different layouts. These residential units have master bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, en-suite bathrooms, a majlis, spacious living and dining areas, a kitchen, a laundry area, a maid’s room with a maid’s bathroom, a driver’s room, a private garden and parking spaces.
