Northumberland College Zoo
Northumberland College Zoo is situated in the beautiful Kirkley Hall campus. The zoo is the main centre where all animal care students train while studying animal management courses.

Open since 2011, we now boast over 150 different species for you to learn about, ranging from lemurs and alpacas, to armadillos and monkeys.
We are lucky to care for a range of species that are endangered in the wild and are part of European Endangered Species Programmes (EEPs), including pied tamarins, crowned lemurs and dik-diks.
Open school holidays and weekends only
