2023 Upper Deck Halo Legacy Details
2023 Upper Deck Halo Legacy trading cards marks the company’s first since landing the license for the long-running video game franchise. The checklist has a lot going on with various levels of base cards, parallels and inserts. Autographs are also part of the mix.
2023 Upper Deck Halo Legacy Checklist Overview
As far as entertainment trading card releases go, the base set is on the bigger side. Consisting of 180 cards, it covers all ten Halo games to date. Characters and other game play elements are included.
Parallels come in a variety of levels and technologies. Colorful foil, patterned foilboard and metal cards are all part of the rainbow.
Active Camo Variants, which use acetate stock, are four per hobby box. There are also Mantle Variants (/999) along with their own Gold versions.
Voice Index Autographs feature signatures from voice actors lending their talents to the games. Single- and dual-signed versions are available. They’re tough, though, falling approximately one per case.
Sketch cards are also randomly inserted.
Among the other inserts is Metal, a throwback of sorts. The design finds its origins in the 1990s.
Themes for other inserts include Discover, War Machines and Weapon Drop. These have Glitch parallels numbered to 117.
Upper Deck isn’t the first company to release Halo trading cards. Topps did one set based on the franchise in 2007.
