Honduras rosewood burl, native to Central America, is a highly sought-after hardwood prized for its intricate burl patterns and vibrant hues. The heartwood ranges from reddish-brown to purplish tones, often with darker streaks, while the burl figure features swirling, eye-like formations caused by irregular growths. Dense and durable, it offers excellent resistance to wear and decay but can be challenging to work with due to its hardness. It finishes beautifully, with a natural luster that highlights its dramatic figure.
