On Sunday (Nov. 12), Sam Smith reached the milestone of having his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with his sophomore album The Thrill of It All. Smith has a lot to celebrate and he took to Instagram to share his excitement.
The photo shows Smith holding up his finger with his mouth agape with a caption that reads: “Completely and utterly overwhelmed. The Thrill Of It All is officially number 1 In America. Truly a dream come true. Thank you all from the deepest part of my heart ?? ”
This has been the best sales week for the singer, with 185,000 copies sold and it’s the third-biggest profitable pop album of the year. Congratulations, Sam!
