Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus)

Habitat
shore rocks
Location
Inishbofin Island, Ireland
Date taken
24/06/2019
Scientific name
Haematopus ostralegus
Equipment used
Olympus E-M1 Mk2 + Panasonic-Leica 100-400mm
I always find it surprising that I can fly 12000 miles and see Oystercarchers and come home to Australia and see the same ( well, very similar) birds. Ours are Pied Oystercatchers Haematopus longirostris but very similar
