Some thoughts about the new season.
After attending the Friday evening game, I was impressed with the staff and the park. Everyone (staff) seemed to be happy and eager to assist, and I even saw the owner taking with the fans. Although the team has a poor showing, this is only pre season, and I suspect they will come together and have (hopefully) a winning season.
One thing I did notice, was the concession prices. $10.00 for a giant hot dog, fires, and a small drink is a bit much. $6.00 for a can of rock gut Iron City beer? $5.00 for a large soft drink? Honestly, I can't believe that the prices jumped that much since last year. I suspect the fast food places, and possibly the restaurants around CEP will be doing a brisk business before game days, and the water fountains will be extra busy this year. Please reconsider the prices for the concessions. It might be impossible for some families to go to the game, park, and eat without spending $50.00 to $60.00. Just saying.

You forgot the $5 parking. You are right in the staff being eager to assist, that because they were told any complants and they are gone. That was straight from Stu.
Now lets hope the play gets better.

Five damn dollars for French Fries.
Forget that!! I'll eat before I get to the park at Mickey D's. It's a lot cheaper and at least it's fresh.
So, now that Disney World - Washington, PA style has been presented - how do you all like it?
It's like going to a restaurant, if you see a new menu the first thing you will see is higher prices.
Now that the Wild things have a new menu, the same thing applys.

On the positive side, the higher concession prices will keep the concession lines down unless they start closing some of the lines after the first pitch.

A person that sits near me complains every year about higher prices. Yet, he still comes to the game and buys the things that he complains about. This goes on all season long – bitch and buy, then bitch some more. The Wild Things know full well that people are going to do just that – bitch and buy.. So, if you buy these things you are only proving you are a damn fool. I you buy it – don’t complain because it’s your fault. JUST SAY NO!!! Eat before you come to the game.

$5 for parking up from $3 their first 10 years. I have an idea.
The North Franklin Twp or recreation board could have people park in the W & J field or perhaps in the business on the hill after their closing times and charge $2 or $3 dollars and put to use for Twp. recreation.
Another idea is the two restaurants on the hill could allow people to park free providing they ate their supper at their establishment.
I understand there is a free concert at the stadium Saturday morning and afternoon. Will they charge to park? Does anyone know?

I don’t care. Why don’t you learn how to spell and punctuate so I don’t have to figure what you are trying to say?

The prices are posted, all you have to do is look. If it seems over priced to you simply walk away. Chances are really good you won’t starve to death. If you work your fanny off for your wages and want to waste all that effort at a Wild Things concession stand then – your nuts! Think about it. Impulse buying works really good at sports venues, especially for the promoters.

Wondered how long it would take until the bitching started in Washington. Season hasn't even started so the complaints are about concession prices not the team. Be miserable and bitch, bitch bitch. I guess that makes you a Wild Things fan. Wild Things fans must have never been outside of Washington because they think their prices are high. Wake up people of Washington and go to other parks and arenas and stadiums once in your life. Take your heart medication before you go. You'll be shocked at how high the prices are.

If you want fair concession prices for a captive audience, go to Kennywood Park. I think you will find the quality of food better and the prices and portion sizes much better than at Stu's Park.
PS-The entertainment is better also.

Good! Most of the damn ushers have been just standing around picking their noses and watching the game rather than doing their job.
Every time I am was a bit late for a game, and sometimes when I wasn't, some jerk was sitting in my seat. Why? Because one of those free-loading ushers told them it was okay. One day one of those persons got mad at me because I asked hime to move. If the lazy usher had been doing his job this would not have happened.

If the WT want to play like the big boys when it comes to concession prices, that's fine. But, they need to start actually playing like a professional baseball team - fat chance of that.
Looks like the WT suck up guy this year is Wild Bill.
