When we first partnered with our friends at Minted, a shoppable marketplace made up of a talented community of artists, to curate a collection of wedding stationery, our goal was to offer something for every possible aesthetic. After all, weddings are personal, and it's important that the stationery you choose for your big day—from the save-the-dates and invitations to the escort cards and dinner menus—speaks to your overarching style. But what we realized was that we forgot to account for one type of couple: The trendsetters. So, for all of our brides and grooms who want wedding stationery that feels fresh, of-the-moment, and entirely current, let us introduce the Minted + Brides Wedding Trends Collection.
To build this collection, our editors identified three major trends, then worked with the Minted team to curate an edit of stationery for each. Ahead, a breakdown of a each trend and the stationery suites that fit the vibe.
Vintage-Inspired
As the saying goes, "Everything old is new again," and that couldn't be more true of weddings. From deckle-edged invitations and antique-inspired décor to throwback fashion and grain-studded film wedding photos, our editors are seeing vintage wedding details everywhere—and the trend isn't going anywhere soon. With muted, almost dusty color palettes, a heavy reliance on fresh flowers and floral motifs, and antique everything (stamps for invite envelopes, bridal accessories, getaway cars, you name it!), this trend is surprisingly versatile and works across seasons, venues, and styles. And, in terms of wedding paper, it couldn't translate more beautifully.
In Fashion
We're calling it: Wedding fashion has never been cooler (or more important) than it is right now. Multiple outfit changes are now the norm and designers are introducing more unique, non-traditional materials into their collections than ever before. Satin and lace won't reign supreme: Instead, unexpected options like tulle, nylon, and embossed fabrics will have their moment in the sun, and the implications these sartorial twists have on the rest of a wedding's décor are nothing short of exciting. If a fashion-forward wedding is in your future, this stationery collection is the one to consider.
Good Impression
Want to make a lasting impression on your wedding guests? Wow them with details they can actually feel. Interactive, tactile wedding moments are in. Think: Boxed wedding invitation suites, immersive seating chart displays, and interactive bars. The goal is to give your family and friends an experience through the wedding, and you don't have to wait until the big day arrives to do just that. This collection of stationery exclusively features embossed and letterpressed options, which will give your guests their very first experience the moment the envelope arrives in their mailbox.
