Best Time to Visit Savannah

Savannah is truly a four-season city, but, for Dearmon, the best time to visit is spring. "There’s lower humidity, and you’re not worried about hurricanes," she says. There’s also a sweet spot when S.C.A.D.—that’s the Savannah College of Art & Design—students are out on break, so things are a little quieter and easier to navigate. And, of course, the city’s many glorious gardens are in bloom!
