Taylor Swift repeatedly shows her support for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, by cheering him on in the stands as the tight end helps his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, secure victory after victory. During the NFL star’s most recent win against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championships, which took place on Sunday, January 28, 2024, the “Bejeweled” singer attended the game bedecked in sentimental jewelry. After the Chiefs’ defeat, Swift stormed the field and embraced Kelce, flashing a friendship bracelet featuring their nickname on her wrist—a gift from the professional football player.
The piece in question is a four-carat diamond tennis bracelet, marked with diamond initials that spell out “TNT,” set in gold from Wove Made, a custom jeweler based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, that is known for their bridal jewelry. “As much as we would love to take credit for the nickname, that was all Travis,” Junck admitted in a TikTok video. Junck exclusively told Brides that although they aren't certain what the initials stand for, it's likely a tribute to their relationship. "We can only imagine it's a play on their names or the fact that they’re a dynamite couple," she said. Junck’s sister also confirmed that Kelce bought the bracelet, dubbed the “Custom Tennis Friendship Bracelet.” According to Junck, the NFL player has a matching piece with slightly larger initials.
This friendship bracelet is available for purchase on Wove Made’s website, starting at $5,680—the price varies depending on the amount and style of the initial beads, per the site. You can customize the band, composed of lab-grown diamonds, with one to four letters, which come engraved with or without diamonds. The band is available in three different metals—white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold— and various lengths, from 6.5 inches to 7.5 inches.
According to Junck, the diamond-studded jewelry item is part of a collection that the brand created with professional golfer Michelle Wie West. “[We] really wanted to design a piece that was super fun and playful that could be customizable but still a luxury fine jewelry piece that [West] could pass down to her daughter one day, so we came up with the idea of a friendship bracelet,” Junck explained. Wove Made first launched the collaboration with West in November 2023, so Junck revealed that West sent Kelce the bracelet details shortly after.
Kelce’s gift is a full-circle moment because the tight end’s relationship with the “Lover” singer started with a friendship bracelet. When Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Los Angeles on July 8, 2023, he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet—a tradition on the tour—with his phone number on it. He later revealed on his podcast, New Heights, that he wasn’t able to meet Swift at her concert and therefore never gave her the bracelet—so this Wove Made item made up for it. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he told his co-host and brother, Jason Kelce, on the podcast episode. Even though they didn't cross paths at the concert, Kelce put his feelings for Swift out into the world, and a connection soon formed.
In fact, Wove Made sought inspiration from the Eras Tour for the design of the friendship bracelet. "We got a ton of inspo from the Eras Tour and the idea of fans making bracelets with messages that are special to them," Junck told Brides. "Every bracelet has a special meaning to each wearer, so we can only imagine it provides a symbol of deep connection between the two of them."
In addition to the Wove Made friendship bracelet, Swift also paired the diamond-clad item with other pieces that nodded to her relationship with Kelce. The pop start donned Wwake earrings featuring opals, which is Kelce’s birthstone. She also sported an EB & Co. ring with a small replica of Kelce’s jersey and his number, “87,” and a Wear by Erin Andrews x BaubleBar Chiefs necklace.
