The Council Is Throwing a Huge Party on the Victoria Park Golf Course

Brisbane City Council is throwing what it promises will be an enormous party in Victoria Park.

From 10am to 3pm on Sunday September 22, the entire site will be turned over to food trucks, live music, talks and activities for kids. The council is throwing the party to celebrate its Victoria Park Vision project, for which it’s inviting members of the public to register their ideas for plans to turn the existing golf course into an enormous 45-hectare public space. Members of the Vision team will be on hand on the day if you want to hard-sell them on your idea for zip-line paintball or a giant bouncy castle.
