About Julia

Hello! Currently, I teach first grade. I am certified to teach Pre-K - 6th grade, and have six years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught third and first grades in all subject areas, and Pre-K - fifth grade math. I'm skilled in translating state and national standards into accessible, hands-on, effective instruction for learners of diverse needs, including children with exceptionalities and English Language Learners. I have been adhering to social distancing guidelines as I have worked from home this school year. I'm comfortable tutoring in-person or through an online platform. As a tutor, I strive to plan engaging activities that target your child's individual needs.
