Hi, my name is Karen and I have done home care and hospice care for over 30 years. I have worked for companies but prefer to do private care. I believe seniors do better when kept in their own home and environment. I love to cook, share stories and spend time with them. I have had special training in dementia and Alzheimer's care. I prefer to work overnight Monday thru Thursday but do have some flexibility. In my spare time I love to read, spend time with my grandchildren, travel and camp, I am also available to do respite care for a weekend or a several day stint

Karen has worked for my family for many years… she is an amazing caregiver. She goes above and beyond in all aspects of the job. Her positive and compassionate nature is felt by all. She has the perfect amount of humor and firmness to get her clients to do the hard things as well as empathy and kindness to feel truly cared for. She is a wonderful cook that made my father so happy. Karen loves stories and is always willing to take the time to listen which I feel is one of the most important aspects of a caregiver. We need to feel “seen” and our lives acknowledged. Her care over these years has made my parents lives so much richer and our family knew that they were in the best possible hands.
