I have worked with children in many different capacities. I began assisting family friends with children during gatherings which led to more steady work. I have coached children at day camps and sports camps from age 5-13. I volunteered and then became a substitute teaching assistant in a special needs preschool for Newport (RI) County Regional Special Education. I worked in NY as a nanny for 3 young girls (4, 6, and 9), a year before moving to North Carolina. I currently work at Carteret Pre School Center In Newport (NC) with special needs children, and typically developing children, and have been there for 5 years.

Maggie is fantastic with kids. Fun and full of great ideas to keep them busy. She took care (still takes care) of my 11 and 10 year old daughters. She is very responsible, punctual and I highly recommend her.
