About Miya

Hello, My name is Miya and I am 23 years old. I have 10 years of experience caring for children ages 1-13 years old. I have been a summer nanny in the past and was a date night babysitter during college as well as a youth worker for a before and after school care program for kids ages 5-13. Most recently I was the site coordinator at Little Canada Elementary School for their before and after school program. I was in charge of ensuring the safety and quality of the program. I would oversee around 50 kids ages 5-13 every day. I also have a 4 year degree and am energetic and creative and have the ability to tie educational elements into fun activities. I am CPR certified as well as Servsafe certified (food handling certification for elementary schools).
