About Rosario

In high school I was a volunteer Teacher Assistant at our elementary school's summer session for kids ages 6-10. I facilitated class lessons, activities, snack times and monitored their recess breaks. I ran my library's Summer Reading Program, where encouraged kids to read weekly in exchange for rewards. On Wednesdays read stories followed by Craft Time; these activities were based on the reading and allowed the children to have a much more interactive experience with the readings. Since then I've done community work at nonprofits, running campaigns for stronger communities that support our future generations. I have excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence. This allows me to be understanding and simultaneously provide the structured environment most kids thrive in. On a personal note, I'm very comfortable working with neurodiverse children in ways that allow them to open up . Certified in First Aid/CPR
