  1. This would be the type of move to get someone in their front office canned in a hurry if the team underperforms. I don't see them moving a 24 year old WR who is coming off a career season.
  2. Haven't had a winning season since 2017 have had some of the worst drafts in recent memory in three consecutive years we're rumored to be seeking a "less than market deal" to move down out of an 8th overall pick and here you are shining shoes while judging others. Insufferable kiss ass.
  3. I mean it's strange to say the picks don't have to do with anything. We're heading into the 8th consecutive season of possibly yet another losing record. We're never going to alter trajectory if we can't start hitting on picks regardless of if we move around or how other teams perceive our GM.
  4. When Scott Fitterer got behind a microphone and gushed over Ian Thomas I knew we were cooked.
  5. Reading this thread It's very easy to see how Scott Fitterer had so many fervent defenders in those early years.
  6. The Rams have a front office that generally has an eye for talent in the draft. The Panthers can move up and down all they want. The results say they can't draft worth a poo to save their lives if they needed to. And Dan Morgan until proven otherwise is not an upgrade in that area. If the argument is more picks will give them a better chance to not fug things up that at least has some level of logic behind it. Certainly it's better than different variations of comments that are basically akin to telling folks here they think they know more than the experts ie the Panthers brass.
  7. Trading down for the sake of trading down and then watching prospects from one position group fly off the board and trading back up in a panic was Scott Fitterer to a tee. Some people here have developed Stockholm Syndrome.
  8. You don't make a deal just for the sake of making a deal when you already have the reputation of being a sucker. That was Scott Fitterer's motto. "In on every deal". Dude was even worse than Marty Hurney when it was all said and done. If Morgan follows in those footsteps and continues to draft poorly he will be sealing his own fate.
  9. Considering we've had a regime the last several years who felt it was prudent to assembling a winning roster to look over the bottom of dumbass teams rosters for talent like the Jaguars and the Jets and send them assets for their rejects well... sadly yeah. In the current term we've at least moved on from that foolishness so I guess that's a plus.
  10. What does one have to do with the other? Teddy got plenty of chances with multiple teams. Howell got one full season with a soon to be fired head coach in Ron Rivera and then got sent packing.
  11. Well that's good to hear. Certainly Canales can walk and chew gum at the same time ie develop more than one QB. This will make me feel better about the QB room.
  12. I don't recall on that. The guy who was the loudest Matt Corral fan was rippadon and he was always saying "let's eat" referring to Golden Corral. It was cringy. But I couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy. It's been tough being a Panthers fan that's for damn sure.
  13. I agree completely about needing more impact players but based on what Dan Morgan did in the 2nd round last year trading up for not just a luxury position but an already injured player in his first draft his judgment is a concern until proven otherwise. Hopefully he learned something we'll see.
