2 people stabbed at Massachusetts apartment complex, person in custody, police say
STOUGHTON - Two people were stabbed Sunday night in Stoughton, Massachusetts and police said another person is in custody.
The double stabbing happened at the North Stoughton Village Apartments on Page Terrace. Several ambulances and police cars could be seen outside the apartment complex.
"The officers located two victims who had been stabbed," said Stoughton Deputy Police Chief Nate Derby Sunday night. "One victim was flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital, the other was transported by ambulance to a Boston hospital. The injuries are believed to be serious. Police are not seeking any suspects at this time."
One person was arrested at the scene. Police said there is no danger to the community at this time and the stabbings are not believed to be random. They did not say what the suspect's relationship is to the victims.
No other information was immediately available.
