Patriots' Javon Baker: Absent from practice Thursday
Baker (concussion) is not practicing Thursday, Taylor Kyles of CLNSMedia.com reports.
Baker remains in the five-step concussion protocol following New England's bye, and he has yet to progress to stage which would allow him to resume handling restricted practice reps. The rookie fourth-round, who has yet to record a reception across eight regular-season appearances, looks to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Patriots' Christian Gonzalez: Limited in practice
Gonzalez (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Gonzalez was dealing with a hip injury ahead of the Patriots' Week 14 bye, so this appears to be a new injury for the team's top cornerback. He'll have two more practice days to get in some reps ahead of Sunday's date with Marvin Harrison and the Cardinals.

Patriots' Kyle Dugger: Limited on Wednesday
Dugger (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Dugger has been dealing with the ankle injury for weeks but has played in three straight games, and New England is coming off its bye week. On the season, Dugger has 52 tackles (35 solo), including 1.0 sacks, four pass breakups and one forced fumble across nine appearances.

Patriots' Javon Baker: Dealing with concussion
Baker didn't practice Wednesday due to a concussion, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Baker played two offensive snaps in the Patriots' Week 13 loss to the Colts and may have sustained the concussion at some point during the contest. Even with the benefit of a Week 14 bye, Baker hasn't progressed enough to the point of being ready to practice. The rookie fourth-round pick out of UCF has endured a disappointing rookie season, as he's played just 30 snaps on offense in total over eight appearances and has yet to record a reception.
