Blackhawks' Patrick Maroon: Shows surly side in win
Maroon registered a hit and 19 PIM in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Maroon and Nicolas Hague got into a couple of tussles Saturday -- one was a true fight, and the other was a situation in which Maroon came away with a double-minor for roughing and a misconduct. The 36-year-old winger hasn't hesitated to chuck knuckles lately -- he has 33 PIM over seven appearances in January. He's at 11 points, 65 PIM, 73 hits, 41 shots on net and a minus-9 rating while filling a fourth-line role over 42 outings this season.

Blackhawks' Colton Dach: Picks up assist in win
Dach registered an assist and two hits in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Dach is still looking for his first goal, but he has three assists over eight appearances this season. He helped out on a Lukas Reichel tally in the first period, which tied the game at 1-1. Dach has added ample physicality with 28 hits, and he's averaging 11:37 of ice time while filling a third-line role in his first taste of NHL action.

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Records assist Saturday
Nazar notched an assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Nazar ended a four-game point drought with the helper. The 21-year-old forward has mostly been out of the power-play mix lately, but he has also played on the top line at even strength. Nazar is up to four points, 22 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-1 rating over 17 appearances -- it's a humble beginning for what's expected to be a strong career.

Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Supplies pair of helpers in win
Teravainen logged two power-play assists and three shots on goal in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Teravainen helped out on both of Tyler Bertuzzi's goals in the game. January has been a good month for Teravainen, who has three goals and six assists over his last eight contests. The veteran winger is up to 33 points (16 on the power play), 70 shots on net and a minus-12 rating through 46 outings overall.

Blackhawks' Taylor Hall: Pots goal in win
Hall scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Hall ended a seven-game goal drought, during which he had just two assists, when he scored late in the first period. The 33-year-old winger has been listed on the fourth line in recent games, though it's a veteran trio alongside Ryan Donato and Patrick Maroon that can perform better than a typical fourth line. For the season, Hall has nine goals, 23 points, 81 shots on net and a minus-17 rating through 45 appearances. He's in the final campaign of his current contract and could be a trade option this season, though he has a partial no-trade clause (10-team no-trade list).

Blackhawks' Seth Jones: Outstanding in win Saturday
Jones recorded an even-strength goal and two power-play assists in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Jones had his most productive game of the season Saturday, tying his season high with three points. The blueliner extended his point streak to three games (one goal, four assists), and he's cracked the scoresheet in seven of his last 11 appearances. Over that 11-game stretch, Jones has tallied nine points (two goals, seven assists), four PIM, 17 shots, 12 hits and 15 blocked shots.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores in win Saturday
Reichel scored a goal in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Reichel has struggled to produce points at a consistent rate this season, but he's done it in two of his last three outings, so he's heating up a bit with the All-Star break right around the corner. That said, Reichel has notched just five points (two goals, three assists) across his last 20 games, so he isn't expected to be a reliable fantasy option in most formats, especially considering his bottom-six role.

Blackhawks' Tyler Bertuzzi: Scores twice Saturday
Bertuzzi scored two power-play goals while adding four shots, two hits and three blocked shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Bertuzzi was coming off a two-assist performance in the 3-2 loss to the Predators on Thursday, meaning the 29-year-old has posted back-to-back multi-point efforts for the first time this season. Bertuzzi has cracked the scoresheet in five of his eight appearances in January, a span in which he's racked up seven points (four goals, three assists).

Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Makes 32 saves Saturday
Mrazek stopped 32 of 35 shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Mrazek was coming off back-to-back losses, against Detroit and Calgary, in his previous two outings but bounced back here. The win was the only positive aspect of this performance, though, as the underlying numbers haven't been very good. Mrazek has allowed three or more goals in six of his last seven appearances, a span in which he's gone 2-5-0 with a 4.47 GAA and an .861 save percentage.

Blackhawks' Craig Smith: Remains unavailable
Smith (back) won't play against Vegas on Saturday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Smith will miss his fifth straight game and probably won't be available for Monday's matchup versus Carolina because he hasn't been skating. He has recorded six goals and 11 points in 30 appearances this season.

Blackhawks' Tyler Bertuzzi: Dishes two assists in shootout loss
Bertuzzi produced a pair of assists, five shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Predators.
Bertuzzi helped out on second-period tallies by Connor Bedard and Alec Martinez. This ended a three-game point drought for Bertuzzi, and it was his first multi-point effort since Dec. 21 in Calgary. The winger is up to 24 points, 73 shots on net, 43 hits, 39 PIM and a minus-22 rating over 45 appearances this season, but he has some short-term fantasy appeal as long as he remains on the top line.

Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Finds twine Thursday
Martinez scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Predators.
Martinez has recorded one goal and one assist in his three appearances since returning from a lengthy 15-game absence due to a neck injury. The 37-year-old veteran might not be the player he once was, but he remains a productive presence on Chicago's blue line. He's up to six points (two goals, four assists) in 18 appearances in 2024-25.

Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Extends impressive streak
Bedard scored a goal and took three shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Predators.
Bedard couldn't score in the shootout, but the star center still made his presence felt by finding the twine in regulation. This was his second straight game with a goal, but the 19-year-old prospect has been nothing short of spectacular of late. He's cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his last 12 games dating back to Dec. 21, a span in which he's tallied 14 points (six goals, eight assists) while also adding 27 shots, seven hits and three blocked shots.

Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Makes 39 saves Thursday
Soderblom stopped 39 of 41 shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Predators.
Soderblom looked impressive between the pipes Thursday, and the 39 saves were a season-high mark for him, but that wasn't enough to get back to his winning ways. The 25-year-old netminder has failed to record a win over his last three starts, going 0-2-1 with a 3.95 GAA and an .890 save percentage in that span.

Blackhawks' Craig Smith: Still out Thursday
Smith (back) is set to miss Thursday's tilt against Nashville, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Smith also missed the Blackhawks' previous three games. He has six goals and 11 points in 30 outings in 2024-25. His next chance to return will come Saturday versus Vegas.
