Canucks' Guillaume Brisebois: Assigned to minors
Brisebois was loaned to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday.
Brisebois was a healthy scratch in the last three games. He hasn't earned a point in three NHL appearances this season while posting two shots on goal, four blocked shots and two hits. If Noah Juulsen (undisclosed) remains unavailable, Vancouver could recall Brisebois for defensive depth ahead of Tuesday's matchup versus the Sabres.

Canucks' Jonathan Lekkerimaki: Dropped to AHL
Lekkerimaki was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday.
Lekkerimaki was a healthy scratch in Saturday's 3-2 win over Edmonton. He has two goals, one assist, six hits and 16 shots on net in 11 NHL appearances this season. The Canucks may recall Lekkerimaki ahead of Tuesday's home game versus Buffalo.

Canucks' Tyler Myers: Hearing scheduled
Myers will have a hearing with NHL Player Safety for a cross-check on Evan Bouchard in Saturday's 3-2 win over Edmonton.
Myers received a match penalty following a scrum late in the game, and the blueliner would miss additional time if his hearing leads to a suspension. Through 45 games this season, Myers has two goals, 13 points and a minus-5 rating. Guillaume Brisebois would figure to enter the lineup should Myers miss time.

Canucks' Phil Di Giuseppe: Snags assist in win
Di Giuseppe logged an assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
Di Giuseppe helped out on a Danton Heinen goal in the first period. The assist was Di Giuseppe's second helper over nine outings in January. The 31-year-old forward has four helpers, 13 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-4 rating through 14 appearances this season, mainly serving in a bottom-six role.

Canucks' Tyler Myers: Involved in late scrum
Myers had an assist and 17 PIM in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
Myers was involved in a late scrum and received a match penalty for cross-checking Evan Bouchard during the incident. A match penalty means a player is suspended until the league reviews the situation. Myers may not be available for Tuesday's game against the Sabres if supplemental discipline is deemed necessary. The defenseman has 13 points, 45 shots on net, 54 hits, 83 blocked shots, 44 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 45 appearances this season.

Canucks' Brock Boeser: Produces power-play assist
Boeser notched a power-play assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
Boeser has had a mediocre January, earning only three points over nine outings. The 27-year-old helped out on the second of Quinn Hughes' tallies in Saturday's contest. Boeser is at 28 points, 69 shots on net, 34 hits and a minus-10 rating through 38 appearances. He continues to see top-line usage and power-play time -- he's earned 11 points with the man advantage.

Canucks' J.T. Miller: Pair of power-play assists in win
Miller recorded two power-play assists, logged two PIM and won 18 of 23 faceoffs in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
This performance ended a five-game point drought for Miller. There was some doubt as to whether the 31-year-old would suit up Saturday -- Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reported earlier in the day that trade talk involving Miller has ramped up, though the forward has yet to be asked to waive his no-movement clause. Miller has eight goals, 23 assists, 68 shots on net, 78 hits, 30 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 35 appearances. The Canucks' middling season has had an impact on Miller's production, and he could benefit from a change of scenery if a good trade fit arrives.

Canucks' Danton Heinen: Deposits goal in win
Heinen scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
Heinen snapped droughts Saturday -- he had been held off the scoresheet in the last seven games and hadn't scored over his last 13 appearances. The 29-year-old got a look on the third line, and he's often been limited to bottom-six duties this season. Heinen has six goals, 17 points, 39 shots on net, 47 hits, 31 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 45 outings.

Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Tallies twice on power play
Hughes scored a pair of power-play goals on five shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
Hughes has four goals over his last four games and eight points across his last seven outings. The 25-year-old's second tally Saturday was the game-winner, his second such goal this season. Hughes is up to the 50-point mark (12 goals, 38 assists), and he's earned 20 power-play points. He's added 123 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating. A 20-goal campaign is still attainable, as Hughes continues to be the cream of the crop among NHL blueliners in points per game.

Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Lightly tested in win
Demko stopped 13 of 15 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
Demko earned his first win since Dec. 23 versus the Sharks in Saturday's contest. A pair of Leon Draisaitl tallies in the second period made things interesting, but the Oilers had only three shots in the third while chasing the game. Demko certainly didn't look sharp, but he did enough to improve to 3-3-3 with a 3.24 GAA and an .871 save percentage over 10 appearances. The Canucks' next game is Tuesday at home versus the Sabres.

Canucks' Noah Juulsen: Ruled out Saturday
Juulsen (undisclosed) is expected to miss Saturday's contest against the Oilers.
Coach Rick Tocchet said Saturday that Juulsen saw doctors Friday and is considered day-to-day at this time. Juulsen has yet to pick up a point in 32 outings this season but does have 89 hits and 57 blocked shots. Look for Vincent Desharnais to remain in the lineup during Juulsen's absence.

Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Guarding crease Saturday
Demko will protect the home net versus Edmonton on Saturday.
Demko is coming off a 16-save effort in a 5-1 loss to the Kings on Thursday. He has a 2-3-3 record with a 3.39 GAA and an .872 save percentage across nine appearances this campaign. Edmonton ranks sixth in the league with 3.31 goals per game in 2024-25.

Canucks' Conor Garland: Offers helper in loss
Garland notched an assist in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Kings.
Garland snapped a three-game point drought with the helper on Quinn Hughes' lone tally for Vancouver. The 28-year-old Garland has struggled a bit on offense while filling a third-line role at even strength, and his power-play time has fluctuated slightly as well. Garland is at 31 points, 96 shots on net, 28 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 44 appearances. He's still on pace to reach the 50-point mark for just the second time in his career.

Canucks' Filip Hronek: Garners assist Thursday
Hronek posted an assist in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Kings.
This was Hronek's second game back from a lower-body injury that required surgery. The 27-year-old defenseman hasn't exactly been eased back in, logging over 20 minutes in both contests since his return. He's now at 10 points, 25 shots on net, 40 hits, 23 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 23 appearances. At his best, Hronek provides category coverage while filling a top-pairing spot as well as a role on the second power-play unit.

Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Deposits lone goal in loss
Hughes scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Kings.
Hughes got the Canucks on the board at 14:52 of the second period, though the Kings answered with a goal just over a minute later. The defenseman continues to roll with two goals and four assists over six contests since he returned from an undisclosed injury. He's now at 10 goals, 48 points, 118 shots on net, 40 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 40 appearances.

Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Falters early Thursday
Demko allowed five goals on 21 shots in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Kings.
The Kings' top line was relentless over the first 10 minutes, and Demko never had much of a chance to recover. The Canucks have taken things cautiously, giving Demko just two starts over five games since he recovered from back spasms. The 29-year-old dropped to 2-3-3 with a 3.39 GAA and an .872 save percentage over nine contests. Demko has had trouble shaking off the rust from missing the first two months of the season due to a knee injury. The Canucks' next game is Saturday at home versus the Oilers.

Canucks' Noah Juulsen: Out Thursday
Juulsen (undisclosed) isn't in the lineup Thursday versus Los Angeles, according to Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Juulsen has no points, 21 PIM, 89 hits and 57 blocks in 32 outings with Vancouver this campaign. Vincent Desharnais is set to draw into the lineup because of Juulsen's absence. Desharnais is projected to serve on the third pairing alongside Carson Soucy.
