VP, Clean Energy Solutions

Mike has worked over 13 years at NextEra Energy, including developing energy projects across the United States, Canada and Europe. Past responsibilitys include strategic development, stakeholder outreach, financial performance and partnership management for a diverse energy portfolio. He previously was CEO of the Economic Council of Palm Beach, the county’s largest and most influential business advocacy organization. He lead the political, lobbying, grassroots, policy and operations of the council, which seeks to create a business climate that generates prosperity and sustainability, strong communities and competitiveness for the county and its membership. Mike is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He became a captain and served eight years as an Apache helicopter pilot—a decorated veteran with flight time during peacetime and combat operations. He has a master’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University. He lives in Jupiter, with his wife and two children.

Executive Director of Clean Energy Solutions

Ira is the Executive Director of Clean Energy Solutions at NextEra Energy Resources He has more than 25 years of experience developing and executing strategies in the areas of environmental sustainability, energy procurement, renewable energy development, climate change, ESG reporting and EHS.  He has previously served in executive roles including as Head of Sustainability at Cox Enterprises, Southern Company Gas and Delta Air Lines, as well as COO of a Montauk Energy, a renewable natural gas developer. Ira has served on numerous boards including the Georgia Conservancy, Southface Energy Institute, Atlanta Botanical Garden and the Georgia Air & Waste Management Association. He is currently on the Board of Advisors at Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business. Ira holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and completed post graduate studies in nuclear engineering as a US Navy submarine officer.

Senior Director, Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion

Michelle leads employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion as well as equal employment opportunity compliance efforts. Michelle facilitates 12 employee resource groups, the corporate diversity council, the executive diversity council, and the racial equity team that reports to the Chairman and CEO. Prior to joining NextEra Energy, Michelle worked in Atlanta for Coca-Cola’s North America business for nine years in organizational change management, employee engagement and diversity and inclusion. Michelle also spent nearly six years as a management consultant with Accenture. Michelle’s passion for people has guided her professional career, and she prides herself on investing time in her role as mentor to many.

Executive Director, Clean Energy Solutions

Trip currently serves as the co-head of Origination for NextEra Energy’s Clean Energy Solutions (CES) team. Trip has worked in energy and energy-related infrastructure for over 25 years, including 14 years at NextEra Energy Resources. tably, Trip spent 13 years leading MISO and PJM Origination for NextEra Energy Marketing. Prior to joining NextEra, Trip enjoyed a successful 12-year tenure at a prominent Wall Street bank, specializing in debt and capital markets solutions primarily focused on the energy industry. His background in energy financing, power markets, energy trading, and renewables provides a unique skill set for NextEra's Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers as they navigate their decarbonization journey. Trip holds a degree in Finance from the University of Florida.

Executive Director

Bradford manages a team of senior originators who develop tailored clean energy solutions that help decarbonize Fortune 1000 commercial and industrial customers and specializes in interpreting rapidly changing energy markets and simplifying complex transactions. He was appointed to this role in September 2022. Bradford has worked in the renewable energy and energy infrastructure industries for over 16 years. Previously, Bradford worked for NRG Energy and Carrier counseling corporate executives and public officials on innovative funding strategies, public-private partnerships, project delivery methods and sustainable commitments. Bradford holds an MBA from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Environmental Policy, Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts in History from Arizona State University. Bradford resides in Houston, Texas with his wife Lacey and two children, Louis and Ella. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and watching Formula One racing.

Oana is an energy industry executive specializing in decarbonization solutions for large corporate clients. Prior to joining the Clean Energy Solutions team at NextEra, she held Origination roles with Brookfield Renewable and Morgan Stanley where she led complex structured energy transactions in ERCOT, NY ISO, PJM and ISO-NE.

Ittay leads the Origination team focused on Commercial and Industrial (“C&I”) customers in the technology, data center, retail, consumer goods, manufacturing and healthcare sectors. Ittay’s team also works across the NextEra enterprise to deliver a variety of other energy and decarbonization solutions. Before joining NextEra, Ittay was VP of Business Development at Greenskies Renewable Energy, a developer specializing in distributed solar. Prior to that, Ittay was the Director of Business Development at Yingli Green Energy Americas, one of the world’s largest PV module manufacturers. Before he began his career in renewable energy, Ittay spent over ten years working in the film industry. During this time, he developed numerous feature films while working at several companies, including Imagine Entertainment and Sony Pictures Classics. Ittay holds a B.S. in Business Management and Applied Economics from Cornell University and a M.S. in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara.

Executive Director, Origination 

Whitney works with customers across commercial and industrial sectors to meet their energy transition goals by providing solutions including renewable power, mobility, distributed generation, technology and advisory services to achieve set commitments. Prior to her current role, Whitney was Executive Director, Regulatory and Political Affairs for the Mid-Atlantic Region, and was responsible for developing and implementing legislative strategies to state and local governments on behalf of NextEra and its affiliates. Previously, Whitney worked in NextEra Energy’s Federal Governmental Affairs office in Washington, DC. Whitney spent nearly a decade working in a variety of roles on Capitol Hill including as Professional Staff Member on the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources under Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), where her portfolio included energy efficiency and renewable energy. Before working in the Senate, Whitney was a Legislative Analyst at the House Committee on Energy and Commerce under then-Chairman Joe Barton (R-TX). Whitney has served on various political campaigns and began her career working for the American Public Power Association.

Director, Integrated Clean Energy Solutions

Grace works with companies to further define and execute their sustainability roadmaps leveraging NextEra’s strengths in energy, mobility, and water. Prior to NextEra, Grace has worked in a variety of business development and strategy roles, at Bloomberg New Energy Finance in New York and most recently with BP in London. Grace now lives and works in downtown Chicago for NextEra. She has a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
