Lake Oswego Public Library invites the entire community to participate in this year’s 2025 Lake Oswego Reads program featuring How to Read a Book by Monica Wood.

Join us on Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Foothills Park to learn why, what, and how to prune to develop healthy, strong, and attractive trees and shrubs. Explore pruning types, proper cutting tools and techniques, and tree responses to pruning.
This workshop is led by ISA Board Certified Master Arborist Rick Till.

Do you have something broken you’ve been meaning to fix? Join us at the free Repair Fair, on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center.
You can bring in broken items and work with experienced fixers to try to fix it. Items can include: small electronics and home appliances, clothing (clean), and jewelry. It’s a fun way to learn how to repair items, save money, and keep things from going into the trash.
On Sunday, April 6, join us from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at River Grove Elementary School for the fourth annual Sustainability Resource Fair. At this free event you can connect with neighbors and learn what diverse organizations across our community are doing to advance sustainability. This year's event will feature:
- Sustainable landscaping and gardening
- Native plants and pollinators
- Caring for our urban forest
- Wildfire prevention
- Water conservation
- Rooftop solar
- And more!
Plus, try out electric yard tools and particiapate in Shifting Gears/Gifting Gear's popular sporting gear exchange where you can give and receive free cycling and recreation equipment.

This report highlights the City's ongoing work to implement the ADA Transition Plan, showcasing key accessibility projects, innovative programs, and outreach initiatives from the past year.
