Report: Video exists of Ray Rice knocking out fiancée

Source says police have yet-to-be-released video of Ray Rice knocking his fiancée unconscious before dragging her out of a casino elevator last week.

It seems like everyday that's gone by, more revelations have come out regarding Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his domestic "incident" with his fiancee at an Atlantic City Casino last Friday. Making matters worse for Rice is that the evidence is mounting against Rice that he did in-fact knock her unconscious.

Robert Klemko of The Monday Morning QB reports that police have surveillance video that shows Rice knocking his fiancee out at some point before video captured images of Rice dragging her unconscious body out of an elevator:

As Klemko said, expect Rice to be suspended for the start of the 2014 NFL season. This is a despicable act, and it given his age (27) and the fact that he's coming off the worst season of his career would typically make him expendable.

But according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, that's unlikely to happen due to his contract:

But, the way Rice's contract is structured, the Ravens would lose $5.5 million in cap space by parting ways with Rice because of the pro-rated bonuses that would have to be absorbed. To put that in context, that $5.5 million is more than what the Ravens saved when they signed linebacker Terrell Suggs to an extension Monday.

The Ravens could designate Rice as a post-June 1 cut, which would create $4 million in cap space in 2014. The problem is, Rice would count $9.5 million in dead money in 2015, which is a large chunk for a player not on the roster.
