More than 135 classics from some of the finest private collections in the USA were on display at last month’s Classy Chassis Concours in Houston, Texas.
John Riding Lee took the Best in Show Award for his 1934 supercharged straight-eight Triumph Dolomite 8C-2400 Grand Sport Roadster (above) – one of only two in the world.
Other cars on show at the ninth annual event included rare automotive icons, exotic hand-built sports cars, hot rods and competition machines.
First place in the American Pre-War class was awarded to a fabulous 1930 Willys Knight 66B Sport Phaeton, which was owned by Robert and Janette Blair.
Meanwhile, a fantastic 1927 Ford Indy Speedster, owned by Bill Lindig picked up the Clay Becker Chairman’s Award.
Jeff Moore’s amazing 1967 Porsche 906E coupé also dazzled the crowds, it won first place in the European Competition car class, while a 1958 Aston Martin DB MkIII Convertible, also owned by Moore, took first place in the featured Aston Martin class.
