Drunk driver goes on run after crashing car, leaving behind three passengers: Gates Mills Police Blotter
Around 3 a.m. March 30, OnStar reported a crash near Chagrin River Road. Responding officers found that the vehicle had struck a pillar at the intersection and located three people outside the vehicle. They had all been passengers in the vehicle and it was learned the driver had fled on foot prior to the arrival of officers.
Woman punched in the face by angry driver while walking into store: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter
A woman reported March 29 that she was struck in the face by an unknown woman while walking into JoAnn Fabrics. She explained that she and her sister were crossing traffic in front of the store when a vehicle sped by them. She said that she threw her hands up in the air and tapped the back window of the vehicle to indicate how close the driver was to them. After the driver showed her the middle finger, the victim said the woman got out of her vehicle, charged at her and slapped her in the face, knocking off her glasses.
