Shaft Nuts, Sleeves
Precision and adjusting nuts, rings, adapter sleeves, withdrawal sleeves, hydraulic sleeves
Shaft nuts are used for the precise and secure fastening of rolling bearings on a shaft.
Precision or high-precision shaft nuts and rings are intended for applications in which high precision is required in addition to easy assembly and reliable fastening. Different designs with integrated security systems are used for a wide variety of tasks.
Rolling bearings with a tapered bore can be fastened with sleeves under tension on smooth or stepped cylindrical shafts.
In the case of adapter sleeves, the bearing is pressed onto it. These are supplied with a locknut and locking washer or securing clip.
Withdrawal sleeves are pressed into the bearing bore, so the bearing can be removed by simply unscrewing the pulling nut.
Hydraulic sleeves have an oil feed hole and are used for larger-size bearings. Oil is injected under pressure between the contact surfaces, which reduces friction and significantly reduces the forces required for installation.
