On September 30, the South Africa safari tour will fly to a private game lodge for a four-night stay. There are 22,000 acres of exclusive prime game and wilderness area and is home to the Big 5. There will be open vehicle game drives. There are also 365 different types of bird species to see. The safari tour is led by qualified game rangers and Shangaan trackers.

The tour will then fly to Cape town, and drive to the quaint village of Franschhoek. The group will enjoy a wine tasting in Boschendal.

On October 6, South Africa safari tours will journey from Franschhoek to Cape Town, with a stop in Hermanus for whale watching. Hermanus has been recognized by the World Wildlife Fund as one of the 12 best whale watching destinations in the world. The best time to enjoy whale watching in Hermanus is between July and November either from land, by boat or from the air via a scenic flight.

The next day is chock full of fun with a visit to the Table Mountain Cableway, and Boulders Beach for penguin viewing, with a stop in Simon’s Town.

Take the five-minute cable car trip to the top of Table Mountain, 1,089 meters above Cape Town, and explore the summit. This is a great spot to sit and soak up the commanding 360-degree views of Cape Town, Table Bay, the nearby peaks of the surrounding mountains and the rest of the Table Mountain National Park, in which the Cableway is situated.

The beautiful Boulders Beach is one of Cape Town’s most visited beaches and the only place in the world where you get close to African Penguins. Cape Town definitely has no shortage of amazing beaches, but Boulders Beach in False Bay offers something extra special – a colony of African Penguins in all their smartly dresses, waddling glory, right under your nose. In fact, it’s the only place in the world where you can get close to African Penguins.

On Tuesday, October 8, the South Africa safari tour will be back in Cape Town, and visitors will have the day on their own to enjoy whatever they’d like. The tour departs Cape Town October 9 and arrives back in Kansas City October 10 with memories to last a lifetime.
