The Connected Man
Do you want to be more connected to God, self, and others? Are you ready to take charge of your personal growth? If the answer is yes then The Connected Man might be just want you are looking for. The Connected Man is small group experience that consists of 6 to 8 men who meet on a consistent basis for a designated period of time. The purpose of the group is for each group member to safely explore who they are, what changes they would like to make within themselves, and in their relationships.
Because trust is a critical component of group process the first few sessions of are usually spent on establishing safety and on identify growth goals among the group members. It is this safety and trust that allows group members to openly and authentically work towards achieving their growth goals. The safety and trust in the group also allows for the group members to offer insight to one another as well as encouragement towards completion of growth goals.
The power of the Connected Man is in giving and receiving feedback among the group members, encouraging one another to succeed, and in supporting each members growth. Group members are responsible to bring up topics or issues they want to address. Group members are also encouraged to give support and feedback to one another. The discussion within the group is predominantly led by the group.
