Trace is married to actress Victoria Pratt. Victoria, 51, is an actress with dozens of credits to her name, including Heartland, Day Break, and Mutant X. The two both starred in the 2014 movie The Virginian (rumor has it they met on set).

Trace and Victoria married in New Orleans in October 2019. The ceremony was officiated by none other than fellow country star and Trace's friend, Blake Shelton. Trace said that he wouldn't mind seeing Blake make a guest starring appearance on Monarch. According to Distractify, he said, "I think we should bring Blake Shelton, let him play my stupid younger brother. That’s kind of what he is anyway."

Yes, this is Trace's fourth marriage. He previously married Barbara Lewis, his high school sweetheart, in 1982. The two later divorced, and then he was married to Julie Curtis from 1991-1994.
