File Vault for your clients
You can allow any of your firm’s clients to access File Vault. Each client will have their own My Documents folder which, along with the firm’s Public Documents folder, are the only folders the client has access to. Administrators and Firm users are also able to see Client user folders and documents.
Typically, Client user access to File Vault is granted through enabling File Vault under Firm Defaults/Default Client Applications (see Applications). When enabled, every user whose registration is accepted will by default have access to File Vault. You can change this default when accepting a Client user registration. You can also grant or revoke access to File Vault for a Client user by editing their individual permissions (see Permissions).
