There seems to be no shortage of striking modern glass houses for sale in the United Kingdom, and this circa-1970s home in Dorset by British architect Richard Horden is a welcome addition to the market.

A flat, single-story, horizontal white-steel structure with overhanging roof makes up the form of the minimalist, Grade-II listed home, which features entire lengths of floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a grassy site and the woodland setting beyond.

There are three bedrooms, two baths, and, of course, an open-plan living and dining room at the center of the program. The floors, ceilings, and walls are white throughout, creating a sense of serenity that nevertheless manages to feel cozy.

The kitchen and bathroom appear to have been updated, but otherwise, the architectural bones feel original, at the very least. The property also comprises a private tree-lined driveway, garage, and a walled gardens.

Located in the neighborhood of Branksome Park, it’s offered at £1.35 million, or approximately $1.75 million.
