Sir Andy Murray has revealed his wife Kim wants him to have a hair transplant.
But the tennis star says he’s not keen on the suggestion.
The 33-year-old has been balding for the past few years and was also encouraged to do something about it by comedian Jimmy Carr, who has just had the procedure.
The pair appeared together on Sky panel show A League of Their Own, where Andy joked with the comic about his new look.
He said: “My wife has been telling me to have one of them for a couple of years but I’m not if it turns out like that.”
Andy has previously teased fellow player Rafael Nadal, who also has hair loss, tweeting: “Who loses their hair first out of me and Rafa?”
The three-time Grand Slam champion also revealed that his wife has a crush on his team captain, Jamie Redknapp.
Andy says it “kills” him that Kim fancies the former footballer.
However Jamie, who lives near the couple in Surrey, said he struggles to get a “hello” from Kim when he sees her on the street.
He said: “We live on the same road and I always see her with the pram and the dog and I give her a ‘hey’ and I get nothing.”
The quick-witted tennis player responded: “I hope that’s all you give her.”
Andy is set to return to action at the US Open next month.
