Jada Pinkett Smith says she doesn't give 'two craps' about bald head in TikTok
Jada Pinkett Smith discussed her bald head after alopecia diagnosis in a TikTok video just days before the Oscars admitting that she 'loves it' prior to husband Will Smith hitting Chris Rock
Jada Pinkett Smith admitted she "loves" her bald head just days before her husband Will Smith came to blows with Chris Rock over it.
The Gotham star posted a video to TikTok where she talked about life in Hollywood over the decades and the pressures on her to look a certain way as a black woman.
Jada, 50, has found herself and her hair the subject of worldwide debate since Sunday night's Oscars ceremony when Will now infamously hit the comedian as he poked fun at her bald head while hosting.
Just four days earlier she shared a TikTok video discussing her alopecia and admitting that she didn't care what anyone thought about it.
In the clip, she said: "Being a Black woman and dealing with hair in Hollywood, in the era I came up in, having your hair look as European as possible was always the thing, and that was really challenging because I liked my hair out wild and curly."
She then addressed her hair loss adding: "I feel the freedom today. I don't give two craps what people think of this bald head of mine. Because guess what? I love it."
The clip has since been mysteriously muted so her followers can no longer hear the comments contained in the footage.
Despite choosing to mute the footage, comments have still been flooding her feed with fans praising her appearance and showering her with support.
Chris, 57, sparked fury from Will, 53, when he referenced GI Jane poking fun at her hair loss and triggering a visibly negative response from the actress as she rolled her eyes at the jibe.
Will was then seen striding up to Chris and striking him on the face before heading back to his seat in the auditorium where he then repeatedly warned him to "keep my wife's name out your f****** mouth."
Will has since apologised for his actions, with opinions around the globe divided on who they stand with over the shocking scenes.
