In the wake of Liam Payne's death, new music from the One Direction star is set to drop, hauntingly resonating with his untimely passing. His collaborator Sam Pounds has decided to release a track they worked on together, which now carries a poignant significance due to Payne's tragic accident.
Before Liam's death at just 31, following a terrible fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, they created 'Do No Wrong'. A chilling verse hears Liam croon: "Nothing come between us but just space and time. As I fall, fall further for you, I can make a lifetime out of just one night. Like there's nothing just us two" Taking to social media, producer Pound disclosed the track will hit the airwaves on Friday and expressed his hope that "this song eclipses the negative echoes."
Addressing his multitude of Twitter (X) followers, Pound expressed his prayers: "I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed."

He continued with well wishes and hopes: "I pray angels will comfort you all every day while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to (sister) Ruth, (son) Bear, and the entire family. I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you."
The former One Direction heartthrob tragically passed away leaving fans and fellow band members in mourning. Liam, who shared his only child with Girls Aloud icon Cheryl during their relationship from 2016 to 2018, found fame on The X Factor before soaring to global stardom with his boy band group, reports the Mirror.
In a poignant reminder of his impact, all five of One Direction's studio albums surged back into the UK top 40 as fans worldwide continue to hold vigils in his memory.
His latest solo track, 'Teardrops', had just entered the charts at number 85 in the UK when it was released earlier this year. Tributes have been flooding in for the star, with heartfelt messages from his One Direction bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson following the news of his death.
Liam had previously opened up about his battles with alcoholism, candidly discussing hitting "rock bottom" on The Diary Of A CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett in 2021, before seeking help in rehab. In 2023, he shared an update from a Louisiana rehab facility, expressing that he had "got more of a grip on life".
The Public Prosecutor's Office in Argentina is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding his untimely death, which is currently classified as "an inconclusive death". An initial autopsy indicated that Payne died instantly from multiple traumas and "internal and external haemorrhage".
On the day of his tragic fall at the Casa Sur Hotel, emergency services responded to reports of a "guest who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol and who had destroyed some objects in the room".
